Together we will see how AI affects both our language and the way we communicate with others and how the outcome of a complex surgery can be changed with its influence !

An AI Assistant for the Operating Room

Operating rooms produce a multitude of data which is only partly used by the clinical team to perform surgery, while the rest remains untapped. We will look together how AI is enabling the development of novel assistance systems, with the ultimate goal of improving the surgical experience for humans on both sides of the scalpel !

Mobile apps that translate words instantly allow us to travel without the need of speaking any foreign language. We talk to the phone in French and the phone talks back to the locals in their mother tongue. Fascinating, right ? But how did we get here ?
